When you were younger, what occupation did you want to pursue?Kaylee
I guess I wanted to be all the usual little kid things, like a doctor, actress, teacher etc, but the first job I ever REALLY thought that I wanted to do was, oddly, a lawyer! I had this idea when I was about 12 or 13, but it can’t have lasted very long, because by the time I got the age where I was seriously choosing what to study at university, I never even considered law!?

If you could have the power of invisibility OR the ability to fly, which would you choose and what would you do with it?Kaylee
I was thinking about this last night and I just can’t decide! I think I’d pick…flying. Maybe. Provided that I could fly faster than I can walk (and at around the same speed people are able to drive), it would save me a lot of time, especially in the mornings, I wouldn’t have to leave home until 7:25 instead of 7:00!

Have you considered writing a play rather then acting in one? - Luke
No, never. I think I’d be a terrible writer! I’m not that sort of creative at all! The closest thing I think I could handle doing is creating an adaptation of a well-known fairytale. That’s because staging and creating a production is completely different from writing something original, and are things I actually do have some knowledge of and ability at!

Have you travelled around New Zealand much? - Luke
A bit, yeah, but mostly to cities and larger places since nobody in my family is a fan of camping! I like Christchurch though and don’t have any immediate plans to go and live anywhere else.

What is your favorite kind of cookie? - Lissy
Any which don’t involve nuts or shortbread really, but especially chocolate ones. :)

If you had the opportunity to travel in order to be in a play, where would you travel to achieve this? - Destiny
So long as it was a good play, with good money and working conditions, I think I’d go pretty much anywhere! Although, I don’t know if I’d move somewhere else permanently in (solely) the hope of being exposed to more audition opportunities, which may or may not come to anything. I’m thinking of your question more in terms of being part of a touring show that ends eventually.

If you could study abroad in any country in the world where would you want to go? - Breezey
Probably America, or Japan, provided I knew I wouldn’t have problems with the language. :)

Also if a chicken had lips could it whistle? – Breezey
If somebody taught it! :D

What does GM stand for? Brooke
Well, I Googled it, and General Motors came up, so I suppose that’s what it stands for!? ;) For everyone else wondering WTF we’re talking about, it’s a long story, I’m sure Brooke will blog about it when she gets GM. :D

What’s cooler, polka dots or glitter?Brooke
Is glittery polka dots an option?

Glitter

Disney Princesses or Hello Kitty?Brooke
Disney Princesses

If given a chance, what would you change about yourself?Aki
I actually don’t know! It’s funny because everyone always thinks they’d like to change 101 things about themselves, and I’m probably no different, but then, when someone asks them what one thing they really would change, I can’t think of anything! I suppose I’d like to change something in my personality to allow me to make friends more easily though, that would be helpful.

What are your views on cloning?Aki
I’ve never thought about it with any great depth before! Perhaps I should! I don’t know if I’d want to eat cloned meat, that…just seems kind of weird! Lol maybe I’ll go and read about cloning now and then give it a blog post of its own when I actually have enough knowledge to comment intelligently on it!

If given the chance to go back in time, what moment in your life would you go back to and why? - Gel
I think I’d probably go back to right after I finished high school, so I could use the knowledge I have right now in deciding whether or not I should really have gone to university straight away. Perhaps I wouldn’t have.

Do you believe parents should not lie about Santa’s existence? - Sarah
No. I don’t have any issues with Santa at all. I don’t believe that telling children that Santa Claus brings them gifts at Christmas is detrimental to their lives. I think people who “don’t do Santa Claus” are a little…weird. I suppose I can kind of see the reasoning behind religious people not wanting to do it because it detracts from what they believe Christmas really ought to be about, but since I don’t believe in God myself, and have no intention of raising my children as believers, that doesn’t apply to me.

What have you pulled in the way of practical jokes? - Luke
Oh man. What a question! I think one of the best pranks I have ever done involves one of these and one of my high school English teachers. The whole situation was hilarious because right before she clicked it, she asked one of my friends “It’s not going to give me an electric shock is it, because I hate electric shocks!”. The friend laughed and said “Yes.” but apparently this teacher didn’t hear her, because she clicked it anyway…and got the fright of her life! She screamed, jumped a threw the pen across the hallway! Surprisingly, no other teachers in nearby classrooms came to look out into the hall to see what all the noise was!? That was in 2004, and, amusingly, when this same teacher (who I’m still in touch with) sent me a card for my 21st in September this year, part of what she wrote in it said that she still has the pen I gave her when I left, in her drawer in the office, but hasn’t taken it out because she’s too scared to touch it! HAH! Of course there’s other stuff as well, but I think that’s the funniest one!

Has Cone Head been on the receiving end of any of your practical jokes? - Luke
Umm..no! I don’t think she ever has, come to think of it! At least I don’t remember doing anything to her, have I Brooke?
